Porimoni's film work has kept her in the limelight, but she has been criticized for her non-cinema work. However, Porimoni bypassed all these and went on her own way. On January 21, film actress Porimoni said that her marriage with Shariful Raj has completed one year.

Porimoni came into discussion to happy new year celebration. Six of her films were released that year. In February 2015, Porimoni's first film directed by Shah Alam Mondal, 'Bhalobasha Shimahin' was released. Her other films released in the same year were Wazed Ali Suman's 'Pagla Deewana', SA Haque Oliq's 'Aro Bhalobashbo Tomay', Omar Farooq's 'Lover Number One', Rakibul Alam Rakib's 'Nagar Mastan' and Roshanara Neepa's 'Mohua Sundari'.

Actress Porimoni's son Rajjo completed five months on January 11. She shared the news by posting a picture of mother Porimoni with her son on Facebook. Wrote, 'Bazan's smile! Alhamdulillah our son completed five months.

At the end of last year, Porimoni came to the discussion due to marital discord with actor husband Shariful Raj. After a few days of back-and-forth comments about the two, Porimoni came to the public. On the occasion of the release of the film 'Adventure of Sundarbans', she appeared at BAF Shaheen College in Dhaka on a winter morning.
