Hrithik Roshan on record breaking spree, beats Shah Rukh Khan's Chennai Express
In August 2013, Shah Rukh Khan's blockbuster film 'Chennai Express' had rewritten Box Office history by shattering all records at home and abroad. And now, it seems that Hrithik Roshan's Krrish 3 is starting the box office record-breaking trend again. Noted film critic Taran Adarsh informed that 'Krrish 3' now enjoys the 'highest single day' collection with ₹ 35.91 crore on Monday in (October 4). He tweeted: "And highest single day record lies shattered. Krrish3 collects History on Mon. Collects ₹ 35.91 cr. The highest single day figure EVER. He added: Nothing resonates more than BO records and the stupendous, record-shattering biz of Krrish3 proves it. In Tuesday predicting trends, Taran Adarsh tweeted: Expect a big, fat total again. Block bookings very good at several screens. Hrithik Roshan's superhero flick 'Krrish 3', which released on Friday (November 1), has collected a whopping Rs 72 crore in its opening weekend despite the pre-Diwali fever. The movie had got mixed reviews from the critics, Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta had said in her review: "Hrithik is the perfect choice amongst the Bollywood superstar lot to do this role." Produced by directed and Rakesh Roshan, the superhero sci-fi drama was made at a budget of about Rs 100-Rs 150 crore.
